Margaret is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Colorado State University.
She has experience as a FNP in primary care, urgent care and palliative care after years of work in numerous hospital areas as a Registered Nurse (RN). She is passionate about utilizing a preventative, wholistic approach with her patients through promoting functional medicine strategies and lifestyle changes to prevent chronic illness and disease. In her free time, she enjoys whitewater kayaking and mountain biking in the mountains of Western NC.
