A native of Hendersonville, Karla earned her Bachelors degree at Western Carolina University. After graduation, she worked as a paramedic for 5 years in Gaston County. While working EMS, Karla returned to school and earned her BSN from Winston Salem State University, later followed by a MSN from Western Carolina University. When Karla isn’t changing patients’ lives at Blue Sky MD, she can be found at her home in Mills River with her husband and 3 daughters.
