Amber is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Radford University in 2003, and began her nursing career in the critical care arena at Duke University Hospital. Amber specialized in Neuro-Critical Care and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University in 2010.
She continued her career in critical care medicine with specific interest in Neurological Trauma ICU. After caring for critically ill patients over the years, she felt a desire to help patients in a different way. She is excited to help patients find the best version of themselves, make changes important to their overall health and encourage them to actively engage in their wellness plan. When not at work, Amber is spending time with her family and her french bulldog Shelby.
